UNL Police Advisory Board reconvened after not meeting last year and UAAD was requested to provide representation on the committee.

President Bounds hosted three breakfast meetings with U-Wide staff and faculty presidents, with Board of Regents chair, the President and Provost. This afforded UAAD the opportunity to be briefed on issues facing the University system throughout the year.
UAAD was requested to have a presence at the Campus Recreation Wellness event, “All About You” event, where we had an opportunity to share the benefits of membership with the UNL community.
Chancellor Green invited staff, faculty and student presidents to a meeting with him so he could update us on budget issues facing the University as soon as the hiring freeze was announced in November.
The Chancellor’s Office requested UAAD representation at the Tobacco-Free Campus Policy Summit, sponsored by Lincoln-Lancaster County Health Department. Having attended and reporting back to the Chancellor’s Office, UNL has since developed a Tobacco-Free Campus Committee with ongoing presence of UAAD presidents until policy is developed and implemented. UAAD members participated in the UNL staff survey and member survey. I will continue to serve on this committee per the request of the Chancellor’s Office.
