All travel expenses are paid by Proxibid. This position will most likely develop into a full time position for the right individual. Live Auction Software Operators use Proxibid's proprietary software (Proxibid's Dynamic Auction System) relaying all online and onsite bidding activity to the live auctioneer. Excellent listening skills, accuracy, speed and attention to detail are essential for this role.
You have:
Desire to learn how to implement Proxibid’s live auction application
Ability to train clients how to use Proxibid’s services and software applications to run auctions
Ability to set up logistical tests of internet connections, wireless and data networks
Desire and ability to work hard and be mentally, physically and emotionally challenged
Ability to provide professional photography services of auction inventory
Ability to educate auction clients regarding ways to increase sell through and optimize auctions performance
Ability to act as a remote ring man when onsite logistical conditions have failed testing procedures
Ability to provide feedback and expense information to all appropriate Proxibid departments
Ability to effectively communicate with clients as well as individuals at all levels in the Company in an articulate, professional manner
A high energy can-do attitude
Aptitude and appeal for software applications and various computer/video technologies
Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously while making sound decisions in high-pressure and time-sensitive environments
Excellent hand-eye coordination
Proficient with Microsoft Office and 10-key navigation
Ability to remain stationary (standing or sitting) for long periods of time
