Responsibilities:
You will be the primary content driver for our 2-hour morning newscast; selecting compelling content, writing engaging stories, editing video and producing graphics to showcase your content. You will communicate with directors, anchors, and reporters in the booth. You will need to meet tight daily deadlines, respond urgently and appropriately to breaking and developing news. You will be working overnights.
Qualifications:
· Exceptional writing ability
· Exceptional news judgement
· Flexibility in scheduling, to respond to the changing news landscape
· A four year degree in journalism or related field, or equivalent professional experience
· Familiarity with iNews, Aid, TVU, Clickability, Social Media a Plus.
