  • The hub has updated the PDSA Cycle Database with Summer 2025 data before January. The database is accessible from the Files section of Groups.io. Let us know how this resource is helpful to your team.
  • The Research Hub is in the process of updating the NIC Partnership Profiles with Summer 2025 data. These profiles collectively represent completed case analyses for all NICs to tell their stories of transformation. We will send out Version 2 of the profiles to each team later this spring.
Support
  • The Change Agent Subhub will host the Spring Change Agent Check In, with two time options at 4 p.m. CDT on Thursday, April 30 and 11 a.m. CDT on Friday, May 1. Change Agents are requested to attend one of two check-in sessions, focused on working toward sustainability of NIC efforts. If you are a change agent and need the calendar invitation for either session, please contact Meghan Leadabrand at mleadabrand2@unl.edu.
  • The Change Coach Subhub held its spring meeting on Jan. 26, including updating coaching assignments for Spring 2026 and discussing how to support MTEP teams going forward. The subhub continues to send monthly emails to coaches with reminders and conversation starters for engaging with teams. Coaches—keep an eye out for a calendar invitation for a May meeting!
  • The Cross-team Improvement Subhub supported cross-team work during the 2026 MTEP & ESTEEM Pre-Conference, which was a valued part of the conference according to the evaluation summary. A working group on Sustainable Teaching Pathways emerged at the conference and had its first meeting on March 3.
  • The MTEP STRETCH (Supporting The Retention of Early-Career Mathematics Teachers) working group is continuing its monthly meetings for pre-service teachers, recent graduates and their mentor teachers on March 26 and April 23. It is not accepting new participants at this time.
  • The MTEP Leadership Academy cohort had its kick-off meeting, an energized working session, at the 2026 MTEP & ESTEEM Pre-Conference. Participants will meet asynchronously online in March and April, then synchronously online in May and June. The Academy will conclude with an in-person meeting in July.
