Gamma Theta Upsilon, the geography honorary society, will induct new student members around 3 p.m., April 18 in Hardin Hall 228. The induction ceremony will take place following the 2 p.m. geography seminar. All are welcome to attend.

GTU is an international honor society in geography that was founded in 1928 and became a national organization in 1931. Members of GTU have met academic requirements and share a background and interest in geography. GTU chapter activities support geography knowledge and awareness.
