February is a key time for students to connect with employers and explore internship and full-time job opportunities. Over 260 employers are already registered for the upcoming career fairs and events, with more registrations still coming in.

Encourage your students to attend these events and use the resources available to them. This is an excellent opportunity for them to network, gain industry insights, and take the next step toward their career goals.

Employers from a variety of industries will be seeking talent — this is a great opportunity for students to network and learn about potential career paths. Students can log into Handshake to register, see which employers are attending, and explore all event details.

Additional career resources to help your students prepare include:

  • Career Fair Prep Resources: Direct students to these short, helpful videos on how to prepare to connect with employers.
  • Career Development Professionals: Career coaches provide support in career development through advising, employer connections, and more. Encourage your students to connect with their career coach through the Student Success Hub.
  • Self-Serve Headshot Stations: Students can update their profile pictures during normal business hours in the Nebraska Union, Room 225 and Nebraska East Union, Room 331.
