Gradescope available for all instructors

After a successful fall semester pilot, Gradescope is now available to all instructors. The online grading platform is designed to streamline the grading process and improve feedback delivery for students.

Both paper and online assessments can be efficiently graded with Gradescope's online interface as it supports a variety of assignment types including exams, homework, and programming projects. Using features such as AI-assisted grading, rubric-based grading, and the ability to handle handwritten or scanned student submissions, it allows instructors to grade assignments more efficiently.

Gradescope integrates with Canvas to sync grades and assignments. While particularly popular in STEM fields, it can be used across various disciplines to enhance the grading experience.

Any instructor can set up an account by going to the Gradescope website, clicking “sign up,” and then selecting “University of Nebraska-Lincoln.”
