In collaboration with OpenAI, UNL is offering access to the enterprise version of ChatGPT for up to 200 faculty and staff members. This is a unique, ongoing initiative, with the first round of costs fully covered by Information Technology Services.
Faculty and staff are invited to submit proposals for innovative ways to integrate ChatGPT into their work, whether in the classroom, research, or across campus operations. This opportunity encourages creativity and collaboration in exploring how AI can bring meaningful change to our campus and enhance our community. Sign up to be notified when applications are open.
Proposal categories will be teaching and learning; advanced use-inspired research or creative activity; and operational efficiency. Depending on the scope of the proposal, multiple licenses may be requested to support classroom activities or department-wide applications. Additional details for each category will be available when the proposal form is released.
A wide range of innovative ideas and solutions are encouraged. Key goals for proposals should include one or more of the following: making a campus-wide impact, cultivating creativity, improving efficiency, enhancing engagement, ensuring ethical use, fostering inclusion, and promoting wellbeing.
Additional information on the Open AI Impact Program webpage will be forthcoming.
