The Lied Center for Performing Arts is hosting a month-long martial arts celebration during the month of October. Come celebrate the rich history of martial arts with our exciting events that include films, lectures, master classes, workshops and performances. If you’re looking to include rich cultural traditions and diverse perspectives into your course through creative means, then consider sharing these events with your students.

These programs are offered in collaboration with the Confucius Institute and in conjunction with the Lied Center season performance of the CHINESE WARRIORS OF PEKING (Oct. 21). We encourage instructors to consider integrating Lied Center artistic performances and public programs in their courses. For more information about free & reduced price ticketing for students or for questions about integrating Lied Center performances into your class, please contact Erin Poor, Director of Education & Community Engagement at the Lied Center, at erin.poor@unl.edu .
