Our annual Spring Stroke Play Championship was held on April 8-9 at Wilderness Ridge Golf Course. 34 of our 58 students on campus participated in the event which concluded with Josh Baldus being crowned as the 2019 champion.

Josh finished with a two-day total of 157 (82-75) to best the field by one stroke. He started Day 2 in a tie for 8th place after Day 1. Josh's steady play on Day 2 including a much needed birdie on Hole 13 at Wilderness Ridge helped secure his victory and being crowned the Champion.

Rounding out the top 5 were Kyle Murray 158 (76-82), Bill Rhiley 158 (74-84), Cole Meschede 159 (75-84), Nakul Paliwal 159 (87-72) and Nate Vaughn 159 (82-77).

Nakul Paliwal fired a great 72 on Day 2 of the Stroke Play Championship which included carding five birdies on the day. He birdied Holes 6, 9, 10, 11, and 17 at Wilderness Ridge. Nakul started Day 2 in a tie for 19th place and catapulted up the leaderboard to finish two strokes out of a playoff. Great round Nakul!

This year’s event was a great success and we are proud of all those who participated in this event.

Congratulations Josh!
