Tom Everett, PGA serves on the PGA Golf Management's External Advisory Board. Tom is the youngest of six kids in the Everett family, three boys and three girls, and was very fortunate that his parents, Bob and Kay were golfers and introduced Tom to the game of golf at a very young age.

Tom met his wife, Cody, at Landscapes Unlimited a little more than 20 years ago. Cody worked in logistics coordinating the movement of construction equipment around the country from job to job. They were married in 2001 and have three children; Ellen (17), Jack (15), and Davis (13). Tom tried to carry on the golfer tradition and introduced the kids to golf, and they all participated in junior/team golf but are currently only casual golfers…"I hope to turn them into avid golfers as they get older" said Tom.

Tom was elected to PGA Membership in 1995 and have held golf professional positions at high-volume daily fee, exclusively private, semi-private and high-end daily fee properties which gave him a valuable perspective on the industry. He joined Landscapes in 1999 as a Manager of Golf Operations, focusing on opening 3-4 new facilities per year for the first several years. As their investment in new properties slowed, we began helping non-owned properties in a management capacity and Tom was promoted to Director and subsequently Vice President of Operations.

In 2014 Landscapes Founder/CEO Bill Kubly promoted Tom to President of Landscapes Golf Management. Currently, we are affiliated with more than 50 properties in 21 states, Canada and China.

The company was founded in 1976, and Tom's passion for the Landscapes Unlimited brand and priority of delivering quality service to the benefit of our clients still drives him today. Landscapes is collectively made up of some of the finest professionals in the industry and he looks forward to working with them on a daily basis and providing them opportunities to achieve their dreams, goals and aspirations.

Tom is also passionate about providing a safe work environment and delivering friendly and accommodating service across all the properties they are affiliated with, as well as growing the game, solving the pace of play issue and giving back to the community.

Most people would not know that Tom is the youngest of 55 grandchildren on his mother’s side of the family. His mother was the youngest of nine children and each sibling averaged 6 kids. WOW!

While Tom's job and three active children limit his capacity to donate as much time as he would like, he is a 30-year member of the Knights of Columbus and volunteers with the St. Wenceslaus Basketball Committee.

Tom noted, "I greatly appreciate the opportunity to serve on the Advisory Board of the PGM program. There are myriad career opportunities for PGM Students and I look forward to sharing my experience for the benefit of the program".

Thank you Tom and we greatly appreciate your time, efforts, and commitment to the PGA Golf Management Program at the University of Nebraska-Lincoln!
