Nebraska-led international research team dates Caatinga forest termite mounds to 4,000 years

According to a new study by Nebraka’s Paul Hanson, termites have built the 200 million cone-shaped mounds in Brazil’s Caatinga forest slowly termites for nearly 4,000 years.
