Production Artist Intern - Arbor Day Foundation (Lincoln, NE)

The Arbor Day Foundation is looking for a Production Artist intern to support the Creative Services team. This position is responsible for the production of print and digital projects. Implement and maintain organizational graphic standards in print and digital communication materials. The Creative Services Production Artist Intern is the final checkpoint in our creative design process. They will make final edits as well as review layouts and content in print or digital form prior to production. The print and digital Production Artist intern will scale and crop, retouch images, and make final edits to layouts– to name a few. They will ensure brand standards across color, font, production quality and more. We are seeking a client-focused individual who can work well under pressure in a production environment and remain flexible and resourceful in completing their work on or before deadlines.

Responsibilities:
> Provide production/design support for creative services team.
> Create and edit images for web, email and social media.
> Resolves any artwork issues that arise during production.
> Handles multiple detailed projects.
> Consistently produces neat and accurate work as delegated by the Graphic/Web Designer.
> Participate in the organization and daily maintenance of a digital asset management system, as requested.
> Working knowledge of Adobe Creative & Microsoft Office suites.
> Ensures requested edits are executed accurately.
> Partners with Graphic/Web Designer on editing, retouching, enhancing and color-balancing digital images.
> Collaboration with team members and stakeholders on all assigned projects.
> Prepares efficient and effective files for output.
> Prepares images for online use.
> All other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:
> A passion for the Foundation's mission, nature, environmental stewardship, and people.
> Positive attitude, strong work ethic, engaged team member with high degree of professionalism.
> Knowledge of Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, and InDesign
> 1-2 years of study in graphic design or related field.
