On November 19, 2018 Professor Brian Lepard gave a talk at the Pontifícia Universidade Católica do Rio Grande do Sul (PUCRS) in Porto Alegre, Brazil at a human rights conference on the significance of the Universal Declaration of Human Rights seventy years after its adoption by the U.N. General Assembly in 1948. On November 26 he chaired a panel discussion at the Law College entitled “The Universal Declaration of Human Rights at Seventy: Reflections on Its Relevance for Nebraskans.”
