Professor Sandy Placzek made two presentations at the 2018 Mid-America Association of Law Libraries (MAALL) Annual Meeting in Memphis, Tennessee: “Developing a Winning Strategy for Library Facilities Management in Three Easy Steps . . . Well, more than three, but who’s counting . . .” (with Candle Wester, ’04) and “Indexing the Nebraska Transcript: Who, What, Where, Why and How; Or How You Might Approach Indexing a Publication Unique to Your Institution.” As the second presentation indicates, she has been working on a project to index issues of the Nebraska Transcript, and has published in a piece in the Nebraska Transcript describing the project: “Treasures Lost/Treasures Found. Law Librarian’s ambitious, loving project: indexing the Nebraska Transcript”, 51 Nebraska Transcript, no. 2, Fall 2018 at 15. This ongoing project is current through volume 22, 1988, and the indexes are accessible at: http://schmidguides.unl.edu/transcripts. She plans to continue indexing issues and updating the indexes on the web page monthly.
