Casemaker is THE online research engine of Nebraska’s legal profession. More than 70% of attorneys who practice in Nebraska use Casemaker. It’s a great way to prepare for yourself for the practice of law in Nebraska.

Why use Casemaker?

Casemaker offers a number of premiere services. Casemaker includes legal authorities for all fifty (50) states, plus the federal government, and has a companion mobile application. Casecheck+
works like Shephard’s® and KeyCite® to notify you instantly of negative treatment, identifying whether your case law citations are still good law. CiteCheck analyzes every citation in your brief (or your opponent’s) and provides you with a report of good law, negative treatments and potential citation format errors.

Casemaker Digest provides daily summaries of the latest state and federal appellate decisions (within 12-24 hours of publication) classified by practice area. Choose one area, a few or all, and get exactly the information you need when you need it.

Casemaker will help your bottom line! Did you know that the average monthly cost for Westlaw is $850 a month, and $350 a month for Lexis Nexis? Casemaker is free when you pay dues to the Nebraska State Bar Association (NSBA membership is free to law students and for your first year of practice).
