Advance Directives play a crucial role in planning for any client's golden years, and both medical and legal professionals need to know how (and how not) to handle them. Please join the Health Law & Ethics Consortium for this presentation by Prof. Rebecca Anderson and Dr. Audrey Paulman.
The speakers will review and examine Nebraska statutes and case law governing health care powers of attorney, highlight the limitations and common mistakes of written advance directives, and consider the role of the attorney in promoting and executing written advance directives.
One free CLE credit is available through the University of Nebraska College of Law, so please invite any coworkers or friends who may be interested in this important topic. Lunch will be provided free of charge to anyone who RSVPs to the event on Facebook.
The lecture and Q&A session will be simulcast to UNMC. If attending in Omaha, please RSVP to the Omaha event.
