Cather Hall Staff Present Their Annual Black White Red Casino Charity Night

Cather Hall Staff presents its annual Black White Red Casino Charity Night from 8:30 to 11:30 p.m. Nov. 16 in CPN North Dining.

This event is open to aLL UNL students. The evening will be spent at casino-like game tables such as roulette, blackjack, and poker. Free food, soda and mocktails will be served.

Prizes from various surrounding businesses along with UNL organizations will be awarded to attendees. There are two prize systems at this event:

• One specifically for the Casino Night games, where players will be able to "cash-in" their chips they win for tickets. With these tickets, they will be able to put them into a drawing for a prize of their chose to win.

• The second way at winning a prize this night is to participate in the Silent Auction. This is separate from the actual casino game. For the Silent Auction, people will be able to put down monetary amounts in order to win their desired prize. The main prize to bid for is a football signed by Tom Osborne AND Bo Pelini.

The film "Ocean's 12" will also be shown for anyone who would like to watch a movie and eat food to relax in a fun charitable atmosphere.

This year's beneficiary for this year's event is The Matt Talbot Kitchen & Outreach, who's mission is to serve the needs of Lincoln's working poor and homeless.
