First-year students participate in Husker Dialogues, a diversity and inclusion event designed to introduce students to tools they can use in meaningful conversations to help create an inclusive Husker community.

Students are more likely to join the conversation if they are encouraged by their instructors.

The Husker Dialogues team has put together a guide for instructors to use in their classes when they communicate with their students about the event. It is designed for Canvas and syllabus use and includes assignments, as well as a rubric for grading.

This year Husker Dialogues will be in person with one virtual option from 7-8:30 p.m. on:

  • Sept. 6, 7, 13, and 14 - Nebraska City Campus
  • Sept. 8 - Nebraska East Campus
  • Sept. 15 - Virtual
