Undergraduate Stories Sought for Husker Dialogues

Husker Dialogues
Husker Dialogues

Undergraduates interested in sharing their experiences at Husker Dialogues are invited to submit 2.5-page stories by February 15. Husker Dialogues is a campus event for first-year students that sponsors conversation about how to promote respect and understanding for different perspectives and identities in the Husker community.

The first 30 minutes features upper-class students who share their own stories with diversity and inclusion on campus. A limited number of students will be selected to share their Nebraska experience at Husker Dialogues in fall 2019. Selected students will be notified during the spring 2019 semester and work with the Husker Dialogues planning committee to cultivate their leadership, presentation and storytelling skills.

Students interested in applying to be speakers should submit their stories at diversity.unl.edu.

Students who are not selected as speakers may be contacted to share personal experiences as Husker Dialogues facilitators and presenters at additional events.
