Hurrdat is looking for a social media intern to assist in creating strategy and execute campaigns for the different shows in our podcast network. You’ll have the opportunity to take ownership of your podcast assignment and will collaborate on team projects and campaigns. You’ll be responsible for content creation, community management, and social media marketing. If you have experience creating content (Photoshop, InDesign, ProCreate, Canva, audio, video, etc), that’s a major bonus. You will be able to analyze the results of your efforts on a regular basis and use that information to shape future media strategies.
In addition, you will have the opportunity to network with different individuals within the entertainment and digital marketing industry within the duration of this internship. Coverage of client projects may require occasional travel within Lincoln and Omaha. This role may extend beyond hours outside the typical 9-to-5 and requires approximately 15 hours per week.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
> Create content for a variety of podcasts across platforms including TikTok, Instagram, Twitter, Facebook, YouTube, and Snapchat
> Draft and optimize copy, descriptions and titles that best fit different media properties
> Analyze results of content and outreach efforts and adjust strategy
> Assist team in developing and implementing podcast branding initiatives
REQUIREMENTS:
> In pursuit of an Associate, Bachelor, or Graduate degree at an accredited institution and be able to provide documentation for confirmation
> Ability to collaborate with co-workers on various projects
> Knowledge and experience with all major social media platforms
> Access to a smart phone, personal computer and strong internet connection
> Prior social media, digital marketing, publicity, and/or content creating experience
> Experience with photo and video editing software (Photoshop/Illustrator/Canva/Final Cut Pro/Premiere)
> Strong writing and organizational skills
> Desire to learn about the digital marketing and entertainment industry
> Flexible schedule
> Located in Nebraska
> Available 15-25 hours per week
