The 2023 Nebraska Make It With Wool contest will be held Saturday, Nov. 18 beginning at 9 a.m. in Hastings at Adams County Extension Office, 2975 South Baltimore Avenue. Open to youth and adults, participants model their creations in sewing, knitting, crocheting, spinning and weaving of wool fabrics and yarns. There is also a “Made for Others” category. The fabrics/yarns used for the wool contest must be 100% wool or wool blend (minimum 60% wool or specialty wool fiber). Specialty wool fibers include alpaca, angora, camel, cashmere, llama, mohair and vicuna. Entry forms, wool samples, registration and wool testing fees are due Oct. 15 to Andrea Nisley, P.O.
