The Huskers Athletic Partners team is looking for UNL undergraduate students to fill their Game Day/Office Assistant intern positions for the 2021-2022 academic year. Huskers Athletic Partners is the newly formed in-house department coordinating the multi-media rights for Nebraska Athletics.
Job Responsibilities:
> Assistance with activation and fulfillment of sponsorships and hospitality on Husker game days
> Every intern must be available for all Husker football home games, including the Spring Game, to assist with set-up and take-down of the partner activations and pre-game hospitality. Set-up takes place approximately five hours before kick-off and tear-down begins at kick-off
> Assist with pre-game hospitality rooms on a rotating basis with other interns for a variety of sports including volleyball, men's and women's basketball, baseball, and other sports as needed
> Some direct communication with clients/partners
> Preparation of proposals and presentations using PowerPoint
> Market research and data compiling
> Other duties as assigned
Qualifications:
> Full-time UNL student
> Must have proficient knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite programs
> Must demonstrate excellent oral and written communication skills
> Experience in a customer service, sales, or marketing-related role is preferred
> Must be available for all home football games
Physical Requirements:
> Job might require lifting over 35 lbs.
> May be required to work in outdoor conditions
> Position may require student workers to stand for multiple hours each day (gameday work can include bending, stooping, and crouching to implement marketing promotions)
