The Connecting Young Nebraskans (CYN) Executive Coordinator will provide administrative and coordination support for the CYN Fund Advisory Committee, Executive Committee, Finance Committee, Summit RFP/Programming Committee and Marketing Committee. They will regularly report to the CYN Co-Chairs.
The Executive Coordinator can expect the following responsibilities as a contracted employee of CYN Affiliated Fund:
Administrative - Create an accountability system for the committees listed above, including but not limited to:
> Schedule and coordinate virtual and in-person meetings
> Facilitate meeting minutes and meeting follow-up
> Prepare meeting agendas and related materials
> Support management of CYN Summit registrations and sponsorships in partnership with Nebraska Community Foundation (NCF)
> Support Treasurer and NCF in managing financials
Membership:
> Serve as the first point of contact for CYN
> Manage statewide membership directory
> Engage regularly with CYN network (e.g., using MailChimp, Facebook, Twitter and email), potential members and NCF
> Facilitate marketing efforts to get word out about CYN
> Other duties as assigned to support the CYN network
Summit & Programming - Coordinate biennial CYN Summit including, but not limited to:
> Recruitment and support of local host team with various CYN Committees
> Logistics, programming and facilitation of event
> Ensure CYN Summit budget is fully funded through registrations and sponsorships
> Marketing, advertising and communication for the event
> Graphics, logo and print material
> Written press releases
> Coordinate occasional regional events and socials
Estimated hours, pay range over two-year contract, and start time:
> Non-summit planning months: 15-20 hours per month (estimated 20 months)
> Summit planning months: 40-60 hours per month (estimated 4 months)
> Pay range: to be determined based on qualifications
> Start early October to work alongside current coordinator through the end of the year
