Parsons Public Relations is seeking an Executive Producer for the relaunch of a podcast series previously known as “Pints & Politics." We are rebranding the project as “Ask Dan the PR Man." The project is slated to launch in conjunction with Lincoln Calling, September 18-22, in downtown Lincoln.
The Executive Producer is responsible for setting up equipment, engineering the recording, and handling the editing/post production. They are responsible for molding the show into the desired format, based on pre-production meetings with the host, and then publishing the finished product on podcast outlets including iTunes and Parsons PR website.
The show is also considering launching a Facebook Live version.
Candidates for Executive Producer should also be prepared to act as a creative consultant as needed. The paid position is available September 1, 2019.
Position responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
> Edit recordings for length, content, and insert music and other elements as needed to complete podcast
> Post Podcasts
> Assist with writing scripts for intros, outros, and other portions of the show as needed
> Cultivate ideas for topics, guests, and questions with the host, Dan Parsons
