The JOMC Lab Assistant will assist with the visual communications lab, helping students with their assignments and performing lab maintenance tasks as requested.
Applicants must have completed JOMC 130, 131, and 132 successfully or similar classes if a graphic design major. Must have strong knowledge of the Adobe software used for the courses, including InDesign, Illustrator, Premiere, and Audition. Additionally, applicants must have the ability to solve basic problems with HTML and CSS code, and familiarity with DSLR and video cameras. Applicants should have the ability and willingness to help and assist students on their projects, must be reliable and friendly, and should be available to work both the Fall and Spring semesters. Pay is $9.00/hour; working 15 hours/week.
