Design and produce a variety of branded print and multimedia content for the Nebraska Alumni Association, including print collateral, digital, web event coverage, publications, videos, apparel, photography and more. Assist the communications team with daily tasks, planning and communications strategy. Must be creative and collaborative, meet deadlines and connect with audiences through storytelling via multiple platforms and present information in creative and visually appealing ways. Some evening and weekend work hours required.
Minimum Required Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in graphic design, marketing, advertising, broadcasting or related field plus two (2) years of experience (internships considered) in graphic design, brand development or production required; equivalent education and/or experience considered. Must have excellent communication skills. Strong visual design and layout skills and project management skills necessary. Ability to work independently to manage all stages of video production including production design, setup and post production essential. Extensive knowledge and experience in Adobe Creative Suite required.
Preferred Qualifications:
Five years of experience in professional graphic design, brand development or production preferred. Videography and/or photography skills desirable. Ability to design and create motion graphics helpful. Expertise with video editing or production using Adobe Creative Suite or Final Cut Pro desirable.
